HTP wick is a cotton wick interwoven with paper fibers for increased rigidity. A well-rounded wick that combines the structural strength of a paper core wick with the performance and even burn of a zinc wick. HTP wicks work well in paraffin, gel, and soy waxes. These HTP wicks are from the new manufacturer, and may not behave the same as previous manufacturer. Testing is highly recommended.

Good wick, good value
These were the first wixks I bought for making KY own candles & for testing each fragrance. I ended up buying the 8oz amber glass jars on Amazon, and bought the HTP 83 wicks from VCS due to their low wholesale price. Based on the burn diameter, wax and fragrance load ( Usually 6-8%) these wicks perform beautifully. I am amazed at how well they give off the hot throw to the candles when burning, honestly I truly am. After testing endless times with family & friends, the over-all result was perfection. I am also very co fortable knowing these are cotton, so no metal, or any harsh chemicals, and paired with GB 464 wax, these are the perfect wick. Haven't had a bad candle yet with these and will continue to buy more
