CURE this wax
This is the same exact wax that Candle Science is selling as Simply Soy. They state this wax only needs 2 days to cure. I have wick tested 3-21 days after pouring and have noticed a significant hardening of the wax. The wicks that worked beautifully at 3-7 days are now too small and I have had to wick up 2 sizes for most fragrances. I have tested CD, LX, Utlra Core and Helix wicks. My favorite wick in this wax is Helix and then LX. This wax gets sinkholes and the reset is bumpy, but these issues are easily fixed. Please don't fall for the quick cure time- this is soy wax after all and it, like all other pure soy waxes, needs to recrystallize and harden. BTW, I heat all waxes, even pure soy, to 200° and add fragrance immediately. (Wax molecules don't begin to open to accept fragrance until 185°) and I have had zero issues doing this. (I've been a chandler for 15 years). The CT is outstanding and immediate. The HT is also outstanding. I rate both a 5/5. The jar adhesion is also very good. Would I recommend this wax? YES
